Packet loss problems
« on: September 16, 2020, 08:25:14 AM »

As the title says, I have been having packet loss above 5% for the last 1 week and that too only on this server.
I tried joining on some other servers and found that packet loss is near to 0.
No idea what's wrong, has been happening only for the last week. Wonder why?
Most likely, it's server-sided, because I am using Ethernet cable and when I ping the forum.uifserver.net in CMD, there is 0% packet loss.
But in /pnetstats, it's always above 5%
So, the distance factor is not effecting a lot, as much as I know.
I appreciate everybody's response to this, please.
Thanks to all in advance who will try to help me out.

My guess is that the issue lies in the routing between your ISP(internet service provider) and the server. Every player may encounter this issue sporadically, and unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done regarding this other than, trying to reconnect a few times, closing unnecessary services that run in the background and if you are using wifi then switch to LAN cable.
